Grapetastic Tuna Sandwich-on National Flip Flop Day

Another cool idea for a fun picnic. I took my cutting board, serrated and my favorite “Mac” knife to get cheffin on.  Have you tried “Have a Chip” from Laguna Beach:)
Tuna, Grapes, Almonds, Spinach, Havarti Cheese on Protein Whole Grain Bread from Avarado St. Bakery!

Recipe: Serves 8 ( cut in half)

(20 Oz) Tuna, drained and flaked
1 1/4 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cup halved red grapes, lengthwise (Can add more for extra flavor.. I like to add more for color)
1/ cup chopped almonds

3 slices brown tomatoes

Havarti Cheese- 2 slices per sandwiches
4 T. dill weed chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Whole Grain Bread from Avarado St. Bakery (Whole Foods)
Spinach Leaves


Directions

Combine tuna, celery, grapes, almonds, dill, salt, pepper and mayonnaise.

Mise En Place: French phrase which meant “putting in place”, as in set up. It is used in professional kitchens to refer to organizing and arranging the ingredients 

Preparation: Assemble sandwich, bread, spinach, tuna, cheese & bread-Cut sandwich pierce with umbrella toothpicks & serve with chips and fruit!
